Nice to enjoy on a rainy lazy Saturday.

And soul mates…

Acu vreo doua saptamani in jurul meu s-a tot discutat despre soul mates si such things. Diversi oameni, diverse pareri despre daca fiecare avem un soul mate sau nu, daca el/ea e unic/a sau poti avea mai multi/e soul mates, daca il/o ai is that supposed to be your perfect match?

” People think a soul mate is your perfect fit and that’s what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the prson who shows you everything that’s holding you back, the person who brings you to your attention so you can change your life. A true soul mate is probably the most important person you’ll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake? But to live with a soul mate forever? Nah. Too painful. Soul mates, they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then they leave. And thank God for it.”

” “Don’t you know that the secret to understanding a city and its people is to learn – what is the word of the street?”
Then he went on to explain, in a mixture of English, Italian and hand gestures, that every city has a single word that defines it, that identifies most people who live there. If you could read people’s thoughts as they were passing you o the streets of any given place, you would discover that most of them are thinking the same thought. Whatever that majority thought might be – that is the word of the city. And if your personal word does not match the word of the city, then you don’t really belong there.”
Rome – sex
Vatican – power
New York – achieve
Los Angeles – success
Stockholm – conform
Naples – fight

Bucuresti – to move
Toulouse – to enjoy
Groningen – to be
